Time flies, or what?!!!! Last time that I put a post on here was THREE years ago!  I will keep it short on this entry but obviously there has been a lot of progress since 2018. The henhouse and shed were finished and I am 'almost' finished putting in steps to help me safely negotiate my way from one end of the plot to the other. This particular plot slopes quite noticeably which can be a pain, especially in the Winter when it becomes very slippery. The slope does also have advantages though, which will be mentioned at a later date. Thinking about the Winter months ahead, I have planted some Curly Kale ans some Tatsoi. Rather a lot of the Tatsoi (the back tray) has germinated!

Difficult to believe that I have been constructing this for almost a month already! The kids Summer holidays have arrived so progress has slowed to a snails pace, but construction wise, it is all going to plan. Could really do with, at least getting the first part of the chicken run completed, the garden is getting a bit smelly! Next time: what has gone right and/or wrong so far this season.

Not sure yet if this blog will end up being a Winter project or an allotment diary which was my initial intention, either way, I have never done one before. So busy at the moment with plants that need re-potting, or planting out, veg that needs harvesting, and the big project which is the shed and chicken coop built on a slope. Have this week off, but it is already clear that it won't be finished this week!
